Why I recommend it

The AM8 is one of my easiest recommendations for someone getting into streaming or content creation. It sounds good raw over USB, adds XLR for future upgrades, includes direct monitoring, touch mute and RGB, and usually costs around $50.

Who it's for

Creators who want to plug in a microphone and get solid results without already understanding EQ, compression or XLR gear.

Important context

A more expensive mic can give you more control, but for most beginners the AM8 gets you surprisingly close without the extra cost or setup.
