FIFINE AM8 Pro T vs Original AM8

What the Pro T adds

RGB-heavy microphone design.
RGB boom arm bundle.
Large multifunction control dial.
USB and XLR.
Headphone monitoring.
On-mic gain/headphone/mix controls.

The problem

The extra hardware did not translate into better sound for Brandon.

He found the Pro T flatter and more underwhelming out of the box than the original AM8, especially for the type of beginner buyer who wants to plug a mic in without building an EQ/compression chain.

Recommendation

If aesthetics/RGB are the priority, the Pro T can make sense.

If sound-per-dollar is the priority, Brandon still prefers:

Original FIFINE AM8.
FIFINE K688.
